Hello
I just wanted to say how much my friend and I enjoyed Cinderella pantomime last Friday evening 5th January 23. From when we arrived, all your team were very welcoming, and friendly.
All the actors taking part were brilliant, all the audience loved the pantomime, Well Done, and Thank You.
Saw Cinderella here and it was fab! Nice bar area too.
Cinderella- a perfect evening of family fun.
Huge energy and so enjoyable. The children loved being in Buttons' 'Gang'! The small venue makes a pantomime feel much more personal and involved. I recommend it!
This is an excellent small arts venue. I think that it holds around 200 people. They put on music, theatre etc. Thoroughly recommended.
The Spring Cafe offers a good lunch selection. We often choose a Toastie which comes with crisps and salad. Always very nice and filling. Today we tried the egg and bacon sandwich from the Light Bites choices. Plenty of bacon and perfectly fried egg. Delicious.
The staff are always friendly and polite.
The Christmas decorations are lovely with the addition of ingenious stable booths. The shop which is spread around the cafe area sells a super variety of leather bags, scarves and super crafted jewellery and ornaments as well as a good selection of charity Christmas cards.
That's the cafe side of The Spring. There is of course so much more that goes on here. It is a fabulous well run venue with a full and varied programme of events and workshops.
A nice variety of food. They have a lot of cool artwork displayed and a nice museum. There is a play area for the kids. I like that they play area is a bit away from the main cafe so you can bring a buggy down there and not be in the way. There is also a play area upstairs in the museum for little ones to keep occupied. Outside the art centre is a nice path for waking with a river and horses. Good for taking the dog out after. A nice inexpensive place to grab a good lunch .
This is a wonderful venue and we love playing here. Friendly, efficient staff and volunteers make the acts and audience feel really welcome. It's always great to see how much effort has gone into the Christmas decorations, when we play our December show.
Nice local (20 min walk from home) venue. Friendly staff. Named interval drinks which were a nice touch. Will return as lots on the list to see.
